Perpetrator's first trailer, featuring a surreal school shooting drill and rivers of blood, only just scrapes the surface of the film's strangeness. Reeder introduces us to teenager Jonny (Kiah McKirnan), who begins to experience strange bodily anomalies as she approaches her eighteenth birthday. Sent to stay with her foreboding aunt Hildie (Silverstone), Jonny soon finds herself using her newfound powers to investigate the mysterious disappearance of other teenage girls around her town. Body horror, Heathers references, and commentary on bodily autonomy ensue — trust us, this is one freaky flick you don't want to miss.
