'GMA' meteorologist has been reporting aggressively about the extreme climate changes in the southern part of the United States

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: ‘Good Morning America’ chief meteorologist Ginger Zee is on a reporting pilgrimage across the United States, feeding and informing the viewers about the unprecedented rise in ocean temperatures. The ‘GMA’ host is an active climate change activist who reports on extreme weather conditions that disrupt everyday life in the country.

While doing her job recently, Zee became the subject of an online user's wrath. The meteorologist was reporting live from Virginia Key, Florida, about the record-breaking ocean temperatures, with a full segment dedicated to mentioning the excessive heat that the ocean is now generating. Zee also dived into the ocean to examine the deteriorating conditions of the coral reef but the brief segment couldn’t tickle this online troll's fancy. He called GMA and Zee’s coverage a “propaganda campaign,” forcing Zee to give a befitting reply.

Ginger Zee hits back at 'propaganda campaign' remark

Zee was reporting from near the ocean and highlighted how Florida’s current massive heat wave is affecting marine life, calling the conditions “devastating" in her coverage. She gave an impassioned analysis of the rising temperatures, drawing the viewers to understand that this is a critical moment in climate change. But Zee’s clip on Twitter wasn’t spared by an online user who commented, “I see you keeping up with the propaganda campaign on global warming or earth on fire or whatever u people say it is today (with a bunch of laughing emojis).”

However, Zee didn’t take much time to retaliate and snapped back with a befitting reply. She commented, “And I see you still haven’t gotten a profile picture. Thanks so much I am just here presenting data.” The 42-year-old meteorologist shot the troll down with his comment who didn’t dare to reply.

Ginger Zee’s continuous coverage of climate change

Zee has been away from the studio for a while as she continues to report from Florida about the bleaching of coral reefs and only a few days earlier, reported extensively on the flash floods around New York. Despite her continuous coverage, certain social media users question the truth about climate change and deny its existence. However, Zee actively updates her Instagram and recently mentioned a comment in her Instagram post from Keri O'Neil, director and senior scientist at The Florida Aquarium that “several coral ecosystems have succumbed to the heat in the past 10 days.” Zee never hesitates to go out and report on extreme weather conditions with viewers even asking the ‘GMA’ host to stay safe at times.
