A YouTube prank at New York Fashion Week has gone viral after one man confidently walked the runway – and no one batted an eyelid. Fred Beyer's stunt was captured during an event held by social media agency Creators Inc. It shows the 21-year-old wearing a transparent bin bag, complete with vibrant shorts and a shower cap as he struts down the ramp. Beyer manages to make it to the end of the catwalk, with no suspicion from the audience. Moments later, a member of security runs up and escorts him off. The clip has since made waves online, with many in hysterics over the harmless prank. "I thought that was the new summer release," one person joked, while another added: "I need confirmation that this wasn't part of the show bc they are weird like this lol." Sir Keir Starmer is being mocked for his strange pose on the cover of Labour’s annual conference programme. The political party’s annual conference is taking place in Liverpool on 8 - 11 October 2023 and brochures have been released ahead of time to promote the event. Pictures of the programme shared on X/Twitter have got people talking, as they feature a large picture of the Labour leader Starmer on the front cover. Starmer is pictured in a side profile against a grey background, prompting some severe mockery poking fun at his perceived reputation for having “no personality”. Others pointed out that it resembles an album cover for a musician more than a conference programme. One person on X/Twitter mocked: “‘Keir Starmer, former session musician with The Moody Blues, announces his debut solo album, Annual Conference. An extraordinary recreation of what a baby can hear in the womb has got people "tearing up" across social media. The creator Dimitris Chronis Animus Mentis Productions shared the heartwarming simulation on YouTube, where it racked up thousands of views. It shows a baby in the mother's womb surrounded by amniotic fluid during the last trimester of pregnancy. The external sounds are muffled, but the creator noted that "babies become increasingly capable of hearing a range of musical tones, and studies confirm that babies react — in the womb — to the sounds they hear." He went on to suggest that if a song is replayed, the late-term foetus may recognise it as a newborn. "I came up with the idea to simulate the above situation using spatial sound. I managed to put an ambisonic recorder in an enclosed basket filled with water and recorded the sound of an African lullaby coming through an outside Bluetooth speaker," he wrote, before advising listeners to use headphones while playing. A woman was left shocked after being told by airline staff that her athletic wear outfit was "too revealing". Flight passenger Maggi Thorne took a Southwest Airlines flight wearing a pair of Nike joggers and a crop top but was left “just in shock” by the reaction of a flight attendant. According to Thorne, who has seven times competed on American Ninja Warrior, a flight attendant approached her and told her that the clothing she was wearing was “inappropriate” and asked her to cover up. In a post on X/Twitter, Thorne claims she was “shamed” in front of all the other passengers by the attendant “saying my attire wasn’t appropriate”. Thorne continued: “Is this really happening in 2023? The passengers around me were stunned as she shamed me for all to hear.” The interaction took place on Thorne’s journey from Omaha, Nebraska to Nashville, Tennessee. Her trip included a layover in Orlando, Florida and it was onboard this flight that she said the incident occurred. Speaking to Insider, Thorne said: “She came over and asked me about my outfit and said that she thought it was too revealing and not appropriate for the airline.” She continued: “It was incredibly embarrassing." According to Southwest Airlines’ clothing policy, “wearing clothes that are lewd, obscene, or patently offensive” is not permitted on its flights. A man has come under fire for asking his girlfriend to shave her armpit for a family event. In a post to Reddit's "Am I the A**hole?" forum, the guy explained the situation that led to the disagreement between the couple. "She shaves everything else, although she'll happily go kind of long between shaves, but her armpits she probably shaves once every two or three months for a special occasion if she really feels like it," he said. "I don't have an issue with this most of the time, although I'm not really used to this and would probably prefer she shaves, she's really clean and never smells bad or anything." He then went on to describe how his request for her to shave her armpits didn't go down well. "She got really offended and said that was really harsh of me and now she doesn’t even want to come. I don't think I'm being unreasonable asking her to shave," he said. Since sharing the post, the comment section was inundated with people sharing their opinions on the matter. Many believed the guy was in the wrong for making this request to his girlfriend. One person said: "YTA (you're the a**hole). Radio presenter Chris Arnold has apologised after a slip of the tongue left him saying something rather explicit live on the radio. Arnold was covering Mel Everett on BBC Radio Somerset and was trying to tell listeners there was "lots to come" for them to enjoy on the night's show. But he accidentally said something else with a completely different meaning. "Hello, good evening, Chris Arnold here until 10pm. Hope you've have a good day, lots of come... lots to come tonight," the presenter said before pausing and saying "right, OK". Posting on Twitter/ X he apologised to listeners, writing: "I can only apologise profusely to the listeners for this deeply unfortunate slip of the tongue on the show this evening." A rap song "by Donald Trump" is making waves across social media following his arrest in Georgia last Thursday (24 August). The former president was arrested on 13 counts but adamantly denies any wrongdoing. Now, a song titled 'First Day Out' by 'Trump The Don' has racked up millions of views in a matter of days. The lyrics rap: "These DA's acting silly, my mugshot is worth a billi, sold some merch and made a milli" and "Call me racist? But these rappers riding with me, they my soldiers, MAGA, MAGA, MAGA." The track has reached almost three million views, with many being fans of the beat. One wrote: "I respect the flow! What’s a link to your real music?" Another added, "Bro this goes hard," while a third tweeted: "That’s a pretty catchy tune." "I stay out of politics but I’m not gone lie! Trump got bars," another penned. Unsurprisingly, the song is not from Trump himself. It was created by Hi-Rez The Rapper, who said he made the AI song "an absolute joke in 30 minutes." "A song I made as an absolute joke in 30 minutes now has millions of views, streams, and thousands of sales," he wrote. "We're bringing people together through comedy, music, culture, & politics. They want us divided and living in fear! We're taking back Hollywood, entertainment & the culture." The appearance of a long-haired surfer dude in a vintage picture from 1917 has sparked theories about time travel. The picture, titled “Last Picnic” was taken more than 100 years ago, at San Josef Bay on Vancouver Island in Canada, in 1917. It depicts a group of people, both adults and children, sitting on a hill. The outfits of most in the picture are what would be considered old-fashioned today. The women are wearing ankle-length skirts and bonnets, while most of the men are dressed in shirts and smart trousers, with some even in waistcoats and ties. But, while most of the people in the image are dressed according to the times, some eagle-eyed viewers spotted one “surfer man” who wore baggy shorts and a large t-shirt and looked like he was straight out of the 20th century. The long-haired man has seemingly attracted the attention of those around him as one man next to him appears to be staring at him, while a woman standing on the right of the image looks to be pointing in his direction. The picture was shared online by YouTuber, Jamie D. Grant, who came across the interesting picture in Lester Ray Peterson’s 1974 historical book, The Great Cape Scott Story. He questioned whether the image was “proof” of time travel, saying: “Notice the group, their clothes, their hats. Even how they sit poised for a photo. “Now look closer. His head uncovered, his hair, his shorts. The man on the left stares in disbelief. Has a mysterious traveler proved the impossible and journey through time? A conspiracy theorist who last week claimed the end of the world was coming, issued an “explanation” as to why the Earth was not destroyed. Mike Buckner, an American conspiracy theorist, warned people that a rogue planet named Nibiru was going to strike on Friday 18 August, ending life on Earth as we know it. Buckner told users on X (formerly Twitter) that he was “heading for the caves” for his best chance of life after claiming “few will survive”. He wrote: “THE FINAL 24 HOURS OF CIVILIZATION NIBIRU APPROACHES. THE POLE SHIFT IS COMING. FLOODS. QUAKES. FIRES. “HEAD FOR SHELTER. CAVES. BUNKERS. ALERT YOUR FAMILY. FRIENDS. NEIGHBORS. FEW WILL SURVIVE. “I AM HEADED FOR THE CAVES. GOOD LUCK” As other users mentioned in the community notes on the post, “The world did not end” on Friday. But, according to Bucker, there is an explanation as to why the planet did not end in a fiery collision. Bucker explained the reason is because he now believes the Earth is flat. He doubled down on his rather bizarre prediction by completely changing his view on the shape of the planet. He wrote: “I thought I was right. I thought Nibiru was coming. The physics worked. What didn’t work was my fundamental understanding of reality. “I now know the Truth. We live on a flat plane. We live underneath a firmament. The Globalists lie for control. More to come.” In the past, NASA has previously commented on the fact that a planet called Nibiru does not exist. The same conspiracy theory that Earth was going to be struck by “Nibiru” arose twice in 2012, leading the space agency to set the record straight. The space agency said: “Nibiru and other stories about wayward planets are an Internet hoax. There is no factual basis for these claims. “If Nibiru or Planet X were real and headed for an encounter with the Earth...astronomers would have been tracking it for at least the past decade, and it would be visible by now to the naked eye. Since the wildfires started in Hawaii earlier this month, nonsense conspiracy theories about 'space lasers' have been rampant on social media but one of the weirdest phenomena related to the tragedy is currently happening on Amazon. A book called Fire and Fury: The Story of the 2023 Maui Fire and its Implications for Climate Change by Dr Miles Stones has attracted a lot of interest in recent days thanks to it largely being published just two days after the fires began on August 8th. The book, which comes in at a whopping 44 pages, is currently listed as a 'bestseller' in the Natural Disasters section of Amazon and is available on Kindle and in paperback editions. The book's description reads as follows: Fire and Fury: "The Story of the Maui Fire and its Implications for Climate Change is a gripping and eye-opening account of one of the most devastating wildfires in Hawaii's history, and how it reveals the urgent need to address the global climate crisis. "The book chronicles the events of August 8-11, 2023, when a massive fire swept across the island of Maui, fueled by drought, heat, and hurricane winds. Given that the book appears to have been turned around in lightning-fast fashion and that there isn't any info about Stones online it has naturally attracted the interest of a lot of people who are skeptical about the true agenda of the item.
