Avalanche favored to win 2023 Stanley Cup
It's not the defending champion Golden Knights who are set as betting favorites to win next year's Stanley Cup. Instead, it's the 2022 champion, the Colorado Avalanche, who sit atop the odds board at +800.
They exited the first round of the playoffs, losing in seven games to the Seattle Kraken, but a lot of their issues can be blamed on injuries. Most notably, they missed their captain, Gabriel Landeskog, for the entire season.
If they get healthy, they'll quickly re-establish themselves as one of the top teams in the NHL.
