Adin Ross and a few other streamers have previously claimed that they were denied entry at TwitchCon as they were wearing Kick T-shirts

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The controversial streamer Adin Ross is refuting the claims made by Twitch's CEO Dan Clancy that he and other streamers were barred from attending TwitchCon, which was held from October 20 to October 22 as they made fraudulent accounts to gain entry tickets.

In a recent livestream, Ross presented a clip asserting that his expulsion from TwitchCon was, in fact, due to him wearing a Kick T-shirt.

Adin Ross presents footage to debunk Dan Clancy's claim

After streamers were removed from TwitchCon, Twitch's CEO Dan Clancy addressed the issue, saying that the supposed people had been banned from the Amazon-owned platform and used bogus accounts to acquire badges for entry.

But Adin Ross recently shared footage from TwitchCon, which appears to contradict Clancy's statement. In the video, a security officer is heard saying, "It’s just the shirt man. It’s guilty by association," pointing out the supposed Kick T-shirts that the streamers were wearing.

What did Tom Clancy say about Adin Ross' expulsion from TwitchCon?

Twitch CEO Dan Clancy cleared up any confusion about why Adin Ross was barred from entering TwitchCon during his most recent livestream.

One viewer asked, "To provide context, during Twitchcon, [four] individuals purchased TwitchCon tickets wearing T-shirts of a competitor platform. After they were asked by Twitch personnel to leave, their accounts were banned on Twitch. What is your response on this if you have one?"

"It had nothing to do with their T-shirts. Actually, there were a lot of folks inside that had Kick T-shirts, for those who didn’t notice, I ran into someone on the street [and] high-fived him," replied Clancy.

He added, "If you’re permanently banned then you can’t get a ticket so they used false accounts. That’s part of the agreement when you get the tickets, that you’re not going to be falsely identifying yourself."

As of now, Twitch and Clancy are yet to respond to Ross' supposed footage that supports his claims of being expelled from the event due to his Kick T-shirt.
