NEW YORK: Alix Earle, the charismatic host of the 'Hot Mess' podcast, made waves at New York Fashion Week (NYFW) with her stunning appearance in a beige dress.

While she graced the fashion scene with her elegance, Earle also took the opportunity to provide her audience with a behind-the-scenes look at the less glamorous side of NYFW during the second episode of her podcast.

In a candid discussion during her podcast episode, Alix Earle, joined by her close friend Natalie, shared her unfiltered perspective on NYFW, debunking the myth of non-stop glamor and excitement.

She emphasized that these events often fall short of the online portrayal, revealing that they can be "not very fun" despite their glitzy reputation.

Alix Earle reveals the real story behind NYFW

Reflecting on her own experience, Earle, who attended NYFW for the first time, described her initial perception of the event. She confessed, "I've always seen it as this big glamorous thing."

She painted a picture of the event with afterparties, dazzling outfits, styling sessions, and paparazzi capturing every moment. However, now that she had the chance to immerse herself in NYFW, Earle felt compelled to provide her listeners with a dose of reality.

"A lot of the time at these events, you end up having the same conversations with everyone," she explained. "It's like, How's your fashion week been? I don't know, I always thought it was a big party scene. Even the after-parties aren't fun."

Earle was quick to express her gratitude for the opportunities she enjoys in her career but also stressed the importance of genuine connections. She shared that nothing could compare to the warmth of real friendships and the support of those who truly have your back.

"Nothing is better than your real friends and having those connections and spending time with them and at the end of the day these are the ones who really have your back."

"So Friday night. we went out to dinner and her friends accompanied her by saying that, we had sushi and it was like a couple of our roommates from college which was really fun."
