LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'America's Got Talent' has returned with Season 18 featuring a brand-new set of talented contestants who promise to deliver their mind-blowing skills to impress the judges as well as the viewers to move forward through the rounds. Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum, Simon Cowell, and Sofia Vergara return to the judges' chair once again.

Among the new contestants, Shadow Ace will grace the 'America's Got Talent' Season 18's stage with his puppet skills. Ace Philip Jose Galit aka Shadow Ace's power-packed performances of shadow puppetry stunned the judges, leading them to give the talented contestant a standing ovation.

Who is Shadow Ace?

The shadow puppeteer, Ace Philip Jose Galit aka Shadow Ace, hails from the Philippines. Ace has come a long way as he started shadow puppetry as a child. The contestant came up with his skills by battling his struggles as his house lacked electricity. He used the reflection of candle lights on the wall to create shadow art to entertain himself. When it comes to his education, Ace studied Communication Arts at Westmead International School. Notably, Ace has previously appeared on 'Asia's Got Talent' Season 3, where he received the Golden Buzzer and he was in the Top 6. He has been successful in creating an audience in social media by uploading videos on TikTok, many of which have gone viral. Ace boasts a whopping 3.3 million followers on the platform, and one of his videos has managed to hit over 98 million views.

Shadow Ace in 'America's Got Talent' Season 18

Ace is all set to grace the 'America's Got Talent' Season 18 stage with his impressive skills. In the preview released by NBC, the contestant was greeted with wide applause from the live audience as he entered the stage. Ace wants to revive the lost art of shadow puppetry and is confident that his performance would be well-appreciated in the competition. Additionally, he is sure that his skills will help him win the coveted title and the grand cash prize of $1 million. He is a Beyonce superfan and considers the 'Cuff It' singer an inspiration. The 'America's Got Talent' contestant recalled the historic moment of Season 17 when the winners, The Mayyas, ended up on a show with Beyonce. Soon after Ace ended his performance, all four judges stood up and gave him a standing ovation.
