Andrew Tate and Tristan Tate have reportedly been confined to Ilfov County and Bucharest for the next 60 days

BUCHAREST, ROMANIA: Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan Tate, prominent figures in the social media sphere, have garnered significant attention due to their controversial actions.

In a recent development, it was revealed that DIICOT (Directorate for Investigating Organized Crime and Terrorism) successfully secured an appeal, resulting in the Tate brothers facing an extended travel restriction of 60 days.

The legal dispute involving Andrew and Tristan has evolved into a prolonged conflict. In a prior incident, a group of attorneys representing alleged victims accused Andrew Tate and his associates of harassing said victims.

Andrew Tate and Tristan Tate lose appeal against DIICOT

Andrew and Tristan have been entangled in an ongoing legal battle, moving between their mansion in Romania and the Bucharest Court of Appeal since December 2022, when they were initially arrested on charges of human trafficking, organized crime, and sexual assault.

As time passed, these charges accumulated as more women came forward with allegations against the brothers.

However, a turning point came in July 2023 when the brothers were released from house arrest after a successful appeal, having been under house arrest since March.

Yet, in a recent development, as reported by the X page @TateNews in a tweet, it appears that Andrew and Tristan have encountered a setback.

They have lost a recent appeal to lift travel restrictions, which had been partially granted to them in September, allowing them to leave Bucharest but not Romania.

The tweet stated, "BREAKING: DIICOT won the appeal. Tate brothers appeals were rejected. They now remain in Ilfov county and Bucharest for 60 days."
