Ange Postecoglou criticises a reporter who brought a Bayern Munich shirt with Harry Kane's name on the back to his press conference.

Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou was left thoroughly unimpressed by a German reporter's decision to bring a Bayern Munich shirt with Harry Kane's name on the back to his press conference.

The Bundesliga giants have already seen two bids knocked back for the striker, whose uncertain future is of concern to Postecoglou as he prepares for his debut season at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

During a pre-season press conference in Thailand, Postecoglou was met with a Bayern shirt with Kane's name on the back and a German reporter looking all too pleased with his prank.

"Did you get a good laugh there? You've come a long way for that," an unimpressed Postecoglou told the reporter. "Thank you."

Bayern remain determined to sign Kane and could add to their transfer kitty if a deal can be struck to sell former Liverpool forward Sadio Mane to Saudi Arabia.

Despite initially rejecting advances from the Middle East, Mane has now agreed personal terms with Al Nassr and is awaiting a deal over a transfer fee with Bayern, who have long made it clear that they are ready to part ways with the Senegal international.

Whether Bayern will lodge a third bid for Kane remains to be seen but they have been given no indication by Spurs chairman Daniel Levy that any future offers will be accepted, with the Premier League side still hoping to convince their talisman to stay.

Spurs have not given Bayern an asking price at this point and continue to maintain that Kane is not for sale.
