LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Hollywood bid a final farewell to the late actress Anne Heche as she was laid to rest in an emotional ceremony on a significant day, Mother's Day. The beloved actress, who tragically passed away in a car accident in August 2022, was honored by friends, family, and the entertainment industry in a private afternoon service.

A representative of Heche informed TMZ that she was cremated on Sunday, and her final resting place is at Hollywood Forever Cemetery – Cathedral Mausoleum. The representative stated, "She loved everyone passionately and deeply. Her children and her legacy extend their gratitude to everyone for their support and love during this challenging time. They are thankful for the opportunity to honor their mother on Mother's Day."

According to representatives who spoke to US Weekly, a "lovely ceremony" was held in which those closest to Anne Heche were present. Guests had the opportunity to share their fondness for her. Heche's final resting place is located in the Garden of Legends section of the cemetery, adjacent to Mickey Rooney, across from Chris Cornell, and opposite Johnny Ramone, as mentioned by the outlet.

The actress, known for her role in 'Six Days, Seven Nights,' tragically died on August 5, 2022, in a car accident. Her Mini Cooper caught fire, resulting in severe injuries and burns. It took 60 firefighters over an hour to extinguish the flames. She was taken to the hospital in critical condition and remained in a coma, never regaining consciousness.

She was officially declared dead on August 11, 2022

On August 11, 2022, Anne Heche was formally declared deceased following a car accident. As per her final request, she was taken off life support two days later after a match for organ donation was found. She was 53 years old. The 'Donnie Brasco' actor was cremated nearly a week after her death. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner revealed that she died from inhalation of smoke and thermal injuries.
