RAIPUR, India (AP) — Australia opted to bowl after captain Matthew Wade won the toss against India in the fourth T20 on Friday.
India leads the five-match 2-1 after winning the first two games. Australia bounced back to win the third game in Guwahati by five wickets, thanks to Glenn Maxwell’s fourth international T20 hundred.
Shreyas Iyer joined the Indian squad for the remaining two matches and was included in the lineup straight away, in place of Tilak Varma.
India made three other changes with pacers Mukesh Kumar and Deepak Chahar replacing Prasidh Krishna and Arshdeep Singh.
Wicketkeeper-batter Jitesh Sharma also replaces Ishan Kishan.
Australia made five changes, with Maxwell returning home after the last game. He was also accompanied by Josh Inglis, Marcus Stoinis and Sean Abbott.
Medium pacers Kane Richardson and Nathan Ellis were left out.
Both teams have already crossed 200 on five occasions in this series. The Raipur pitch is another good batting surface with a high-scoring contest on the cards yet again.
Bengaluru will host the fifth T20 on Sunday.
