Bernardo Silva offers a cryptic update on his Manchester City future amid interest from Barcelona & PSG. The 28-year-old has two years remaining on his contract and is believed to be considering his options.

Bernardo Silva has admitted he plans to see out the season with Manchester City before evaluating his future in the summer.

Silva has long been linked with a move away from the Etihad Stadium, after winning everything but the Champions League with the club, and Barcelona remain keen to land the Portugal international after failing with bids to sign him last summer and during the January transfer window.

City boss Pep Guardiola has publicly insisted he will never block any of his players from leaving the club as long as fair bids are received, and 90min understands that remains the case with Silva this summer.

The Champions League finalists are willing to part ways with Silva if he asks to leave, but are understood to be prepared to demand close to £75m for the 28-year-old.

While Barcelona would be Silva's preferred destination if he does leave the Etihad, there is also interest in the midfielder from Paris Saint-Germain.

Asked about his plans after Wednesday's 4-0 demolition of Real Madrid, Silva refused to commit to anything and insisted his focus is on helping City win a historic treble.

"The plan is to finish the season well, win the Premier League, try against Man Utd in the FA Cup final, and then Inter,” he told Canal+. “After that, this summer, we’ll see what happens.”

Sources have confirmed to 90min that Silva plans to wait until the end of the season and will not make a decision on his future until he learns whether Barcelona will have the financial means to pursue a transfer. The La Liga side have submitted a feasibility plan to league officials in the hope of being granted permission to sign new players, with their number one priority securing the return of Lionel Messi.

Should neither Barcelona nor PSG formalise their interest, then Silva, whose current contract has just two years left to run, could be tempted to extend his six-year stay with City.
