Coming on the heels of the anticipated release of the latest Apple watch, Best Buy just dropped the price of the Series 8 in a small/medium to the lowest price ever: $279, a savings of $120. The previous lowest price was during July’s Amazon Prime Day sale for $279.99. This sale price has limitations — it only applies to the Series 8 with a screen size of 41 mm in, a small/medium band size, and in the starlight color. The small/medium band size is designed to fit wrists of 130 –180mm. If you prefer the midnight color, Amazon is your retailer - offering the color at the sale price of $299, for a $100 savings off the original.

The watch uses GPS and your phone’s WiFi to connect you to texts, calls, music, podcasts, and hundreds of apps. The Series 8 also has health-centric functions like sleep tracking, heart rate monitoring, and body temperature. It also comes with some less common features like crash detection and fall detection. Apple watches also come with three free months of Apple Fitness Plus.
When it comes to durability, the Series 8 is made with a crack-resistant material, IP6X-certified dust resistant, and is water resistant up to 50 meters.
