Atlanta Braves catcher Travis d'Arnaud trolled the Phillies announcers in the best way possible, though he likely wasn't aware of it.

When Marcell Ozuna hit a home run against the Phillies earlier this week, the Phils announcers did not take kindly to it.

Yes, because Ozuna and Ron Washington are at fault for…a celly? Gimme a break.

This happens often, especially when two rivals are playing and there's an obvious underdog. Atlanta is ahead of Philadelphia in the NL East by nine games. It happens. No one in Philly is happy about this fact, especially when the Phillies represented the National League in the World Series last season.

Braves: Did Travis d'Arnaud and Ron Washington troll the Phillies?

Just a few days later, and Washington is doing a similar celebration with Travis d'Arnaud after an innocent home run against the Reds.

Anyone in Cincinnati have an issue with this? No? Well, that points to an obvious difference.

The Braves just won several games against the Phillies, thus adding to their NL East advantage. The Reds, meanwhile, sit in first place in the NL Central and defeated Atlanta in the first game of this series.

FanSided's John Buhler pointed to the obvious hypocrisy in the Phils radio call, considering the situation at play:

"Keep in mind this is the same Phillies team that saw Rhys Hoskins spike a bat after hitting a big fly off Spencer Strider in last year's NLDS. It is a division rivalry, so none of our feelings really matter. Atlanta would go on to win the game 5-1, winning both games vs. Philadelphia that were played."

The difference between a thriving baseball team and one struggling to reach its expectations is obvious — one fanbase will celebrate its heights, while the other makes excuses.

Yes, the Phillies are a capable contender which should make the postseason if all goes right. But for now, they are frustrated.

d'Arnaud and Washington shouldn't change what's been a year-long approach and celebration just because it offends a salty fanbase.

Sorry, Philadelphia. Them's the rules.
