When the Steelers face the Browns in Week 2 of the regular season, one team will already be screaming "Uncle!".

On a Tuesday afternoon, the Cleveland Browns franchise decided to give up. They arrived at this conclusion not due to Deshaun Watson's worrying decline or the fact that the majority of NFL fans think their team is a joke. Their stadium's midfield logo is an elf, for crying out loud.

No, they decided to surrender to the AFC North and the rest of the league when they revealed their new all-white uniform combination, which they will debut against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 2 on Monday Night Football.

The uniform is, as stated, basically all white. There's an orange stripe down the middle of a white helmet, and traditional orange and black colors detail the sleeves and numbers on white uniforms.

To a select group of die-hard Browns fans, these new jerseys are the cleanest, meanest color combos in the NFL.

To the rest of us, we're just waiting for Watt and Heyward to add some green stains on Watson's jersey. Which is to say: Sack him. Drag him on the ground.

Browns will wear all-white uniforms against Steelers in Week 2

The Browns also plan on wearing this all-white combo in Week 6 against the San Francisco 49ers and Week 17 against the New York Jets. We can appreciate the attempt, at least, as the uniforms are meant to be a throwback to an older era of Browns football, hailing all the way back to 1946 when Cleveland first donned all-white.

When other teams design a throwback jersey, it's cool. When the Browns do it, it feels like the franchise is trying to escape the despicable horrors of their current era.

Take the Cincinnati Bengals, for example. When they sported an all-white uniform combination last year, fans across the league were absolutely floored. "Damn coolest jerseys." "SO fresh." "Three fire emojis." "Lives up to the hype."

Those uniforms were inspired by white tigers at the Cincinnati Zoo? Even cooler. The Bengals also went all out on their white uniform debut night and painted the end zones of their stadium in a black-and-white striped pattern; plus, they painted their logo on the field in the same colors.

Compare that to… the all-white Browns, whose mascot is a dog and who have a giant constipated elf in the middle of their field.

When the Browns take on the Steelers in Week 2, they've already lost on the basis of being totally lame. Take a page from the Bengals' design book, and find an elite quarterback, too.
