CarbonCapture Inc., a US climate tech company that designs, manufactures and deploys direct air capture (DAC) systems that remove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, was selected among hundreds of candidates as one of the World Economic Forum’s “Technology Pioneers”. The startup, founded by Bill Gross of Idealab, develops its DAC systems based on a ground-breaking modular open systems architecture that positions the company for rapid deployment and scale-up.

The World Economic Forum’s Technology Pioneers are early-stage companies that are at the forefront of new technologies and innovation and are poised to have a significant impact on business and society.
