Chelsea have announced the signing of striker Nicolas Jackson from Villarreal.
The Senegal striker has signed a long-term contract at Stamford Bridge and is the Blues' second signing of the Mauricio Pochettino era.
90min understands Chelsea have agreed to pay Villarreal more than the sum of his €35m release clause, but this will be spread out over several instalments.
Jackson came close to moving to England back in January when Bournemouth agreed terms over a deal, but the transfer fell through as he failed a medical.
Following the collapse of this deal, Jackson took on more of a starring role at Villarreal, with nine of his 12 La Liga goals coming in the final eight games of the 2022/23 season.
