Comedian and YouTuber Colleen Ballinger, aka Miranda Sings, has been accused of grooming minor fans, including Adam McIntyre

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: YouTube sensation Adam McIntyre has lashed out at comedian Colleen Ballinger after she used a ukulele performance to address accusations of grooming. Ballinger, commonly referred to online as Miranda Sings, has been accused of "grooming" underage fans. Ballinger initially didn't responded to the allegations, and her extended absence from her usually active social media profiles has only raised suspicions.

In 2020, McIntyre accused the creator of Miranda Sings of engaging in illicit interactions with minor fans, including himself. In a bizarre singing video where Ballinger plays the ukelele and sings, she refuted claims that she acted inappropriately toward any of her former followers, as per E! News. Ballinger also claimed she was the target of false charges that she was unaware of.

'Are you kidding me?'

On Wednesday, June 28, shortly after Ballinger refuted all allegations in a song uploaded to her YouTube channel, McIntyre remarked in a Twitch stream, "Are you kidding me?" McIntyre added, "This is your response? Your response is making fun of us? I'm in awe." McIntyre blasted Ballinger on Twitter as well for her denials, and wrote, "As much as colleen discredited & made fun of me, im glad her video did ONE thing, show you all EXACTLY the type of evil woman she is, that a lot of us have experienced over the past few years behind the scenes, the mask has slipped…everyone meet the REAL colleen ballinger."

Ballinger claimed in her video on June 28 that she had previously messaged followers but "didn't understand that maybe there should be some boundaries" and frequently stipulated too much personal information. She crooned, "I haven't done that in years because I changed my behavior and took accountability," adding that she would not apologize for "lies and rumors."

McIntyre's complaints resurfaced earlier this month after KodeeRants, a fellow YouTuber, reportedly released screenshots of Ballinger allegedly asking viewers for their "favorite position" in a chatroom called "Colleeny's Weenies." According to NBC News, the unconfirmed screenshots also supposedly showed Ballinger inquiring McIntyre if he was a virgin. Ballinger did acknowledge making "jokes in poor taste" and "lots of dumb mistakes," but she denied ever sending offensive messages to underage fans with an aim to groom them.

Frustrated fans have split opinions

Fans are frustrated and annoyed over the ongoing online feud between the two YouTubers. Some supported McIntyre for slamming the comedian's bizarre singing apology while another group of Miranda Sings fans are backing her vehemently. Someone tweeted in support of McIntyre, "She’s banking on her older audience to just accept what she’s saying and continue. I bet she makes a huge pivot on her channel. Maybe she’ll pull a Brittney Dawn and become a faith influencer lmao." Another wrote, "Please do not watch Colleen Ballinger's victim blaming video. Go watch Adam McIntyre's video instead. We do not support child grooming or child predators here."

A third McIntyre fan wrote, "Girl said "they never told me I couldn't sing" like Kat Valentine I assure her that everyone around her thought it was obvious that was a bad route to take." Another chimed in, "I didn't know about all this prior but the way she approached things in that video was terrifying. If this is what you went through, I'm incredibly sorry you had to experience this manipulation and abuse and I hope you can find solace in her exposing herself for who she truly is." Someone else tweeted, "Love and respect you Adam your strong and keep doing what your doing, your helping many people to be careful around people like her.."

Meanwhile, one of the fans supporting Ballinger wrote, "Are you done now? You’ve already profited enough on her demise after she has already apologized to you years ago and yet you still want her to be held accountable for some thing she did in the past and has grown front. I just don’t understand why you still need to be so hateful." Another wrote, "Agreed.. He’s just a clout chaser literally no one knew about him before it’s sad because he thinks he “made it” his fans are bunch of bullies and haters only which is gonna be toxic in the long run never seen a victim do this type of behavior like gurrl enough." Someone else exclaimed, "One other thing - you all can’t call someone narcissistic if you are trying to get a GANG of people to hate someone and “expose” them. How about you go to the law and present your case? What this Adam guy is doing is narcissism 101."
