Lizzo has hailed Wright as the love of her life, and as recently as last month on July 23, she posted an affectionate image of the couple together

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Lizzo, the chart-topping singer known for hits like 'Juice', has refuted rumors of a split from her boyfriend Myke Wright in the midst of disturbing allegations of sexual harassment and abuse leveled against her.

The 35-year-old musician and Wright commenced their relationship in 2021, after their collaboration on the MTV music show 'Wonderland' back in 2016. Speculation of their breakup arose when both parties unfollowed each other on social media platforms, accompanied by Lizzo's removal of their shared photos.

In response to these claims, a representative for Lizzo has categorically denied the reports, telling DailyMail.com that there is no truth to the rumors of a separation. Lizzo had previously hailed Wright as the love of her life, and as recently as last month on July 23, she posted an affectionate image of the couple together, captioning it, "Selfie with my favorite artist."

Lizzo's love life takes a hit?

A source told the US Sun, "Lizzo has taken the past few weeks very hard and her relationship has suffered. They had a big falling out and she is really upset. Both of them have thought of themselves as soulmates, so for it to end has been hard on them. Those close to them are hoping they will make up."

Furthermore, in December last year, Lizzo openly professed her affection for Wright while appearing on 'The Howard Stern Show'.

During the interview, Stern broached the topic of her romantic life, inquiring about the exclusivity of her relationship with Wright to the extent that potential suitors should refrain from pursuing her.

"Listen, don't waste your time honey, I am very much in love and Myke," she told Stern, adding that "she's absolutely in love, 100 percent."

Elaborating on her prioritization of her career, the 'Good As Hell' artist disclosed that she and Wright had previously maintained a platonic friendship.

"I had a lot of s**t to do, and I was still very much in my, I feel unloveable place, and I was still not where I wanted to be career wise," she said of their past platonic relationship.

"With Wright it was different because when you love something and you let it go and if it's meant to be, it comes back to you. And we both let it go because we both had a lot going on in our lives," she explained.

"And then when the time was right we came together and we just recently we were like, We together. This is official because I'm very traditional about certain things. We need to have the talk. It needs to be discussed."

Sexual harassment allegations add to Lizzo's problems

The sexual harassment allegations against Lizzo has added complexity to her personal life. Accusations have emerged from former backup dancers Arianna Davis, Crystal Williams, and Noelle Rodriguez, according to NBC News, who filed a lawsuit alleging not only sexual harassment but also claims of fat-shaming. Lizzo's response to these allegations, in which she denied their validity and instead accused the dancers of unprofessional behavior, has further intensified the situation.

The trio of plaintiffs expressed disappointment at Lizzo's dismissal of their claims. In a statement to Dailymail.com from their attorney, Ron Zambrano, they accused Lizzo of minimizing their distress and violating employment laws. Adding to this, new allegations have emerged from an additional six dancers, who claim that Lizzo fostered a sexually charged environment and withheld payment.

"Lizzo has failed her own brand and has let down her fans. Her denial of this reprehensible behavior only adds to our clients’ emotional distress," he said.

"The dismissive comments and utter lack of empathy are quite telling about her character and only serve to minimize the trauma she has caused the plaintiffs and other employees who have now come forward sharing their own negative experiences."

He continued, "While Lizzo notes it was never her intention to make anyone feel uncomfortable, that is exactly what she did to the point of demoralizing her dancers and flagrantly violating the law."
