Roger Bonds, who served as Diddy's security guard for many years, was mentioned in Cassie's now-dismissed sexual assault case

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Sean 'Diddy' Combs' former head of security, Roger Bonds found himself in legal trouble after the rapper's former girlfriend Cassie Ventura filed a sexual assault complaint against the singer and named Bonds as well.

On Saturday, November 25, Bonds posted a now-removed cryptic statement on his Instagram about Cassie's lawsuit, in which Bonds was named as a witness to Diddy's alleged assault on Cassie.

In her lawsuit, Cassie had contended that during the last few days of their relationship, Diddy forcefully broke into her apartment and sexually assaulted her — after they had dinner together in Malibu, California.

Diddy had refuted all allegations of abuse, and Cassie's case was dropped following a November 17 settlement between the parties. However, two more women have come forward to accuse the rapper of sexual assault, as per Daily Mail.

Roger Bonds responds to Cassie's lawsuit

Roger Bonds, a longtime employee of Diddy who has been photographed with Cassie on various occasions for at least ten years, responded to Cassie's accusations on Instagram, though he did so in a fairly cryptic way.

Following Cassie's settlement with the singer, Diddy's former head of security responded to his now-dismissed lawsuit with a bizarre now-deleted social media remark.

Bonds posted on Instagram stories, saying, "This is not meant to be threats of snitching or anything like that against Cassie or Diddy or anyone else. This is me telling my truth as I truly remember it for 2 reasons only."

"1st because I have 4 daughters so on all dudes my truth as I seen it, saw it and was involved with it for yrs," he concluded the post.

He also reportedly made an Instagram post, with several pictures of himself and Cassie, captioning it, "IM WILLING TO TELL MY TEUTH [sic] BECAUSE FOR SO MANY YRS I WAS QUIET, Nothing matters now but FAMILY."

The screen grab from the complaint that accompanied the photo carousel showed Bonds identified as a witness to an alleged 2009 incident in which Cassie says Diddy beat her up after discovering that "she was talking to another music manager at a club in LA," per TMZ.

It's unclear from Bonds' Instagram post, though, if he is backing or refuting Cassie's allegation. It's also unknown if he will discuss it further in the future.

Cassie claimed Roger Bonds tried to intervene while Diddy attacked her

Cassie claimed Bonds tried to stop Diddy from attacking her in the car after the club outing. In the lawsuit, Cassie, 37, alleged that Diddy had been abusing and controlling her for more than ten years.

The singer stated that Diddy beat her, made her take drugs, and made her have sex with various male prostitutes while he observed and documented the interactions.

Cassie said in her lawsuit, "After years in silence and darkness. I am finally ready to tell my story, and to speak up on behalf of myself and for the benefit of other women who face violence and abuse in their relationships."

Cassie's breakthrough single 'Me & U' catapulted her to stardom throughout her adolescence after she met Diddy in 2006.

For over ten years, the couple had an episodic relationship while Cassie worked to establish a long-term, lucrative acting and music career. In 2018, they decided to call it quits.
