Formula One is in Great Britain for the weekend. Here's the F1 starting grid for tomorrow as a result of Saturday's qualifying.

Formula One makes its stop in Great Britain this weekend, with Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez leading the way in the driver's standings and Red Bull running away with the Constructor's standings so far in 2023 as a result.

The remaining spots on the constructor's podium remain intense, though, with Mercedes entering the weekend with 178 points, Aston Martin at 175, and Ferrari at 154.

Alpine and McLaren remain lock-stepped in the mid-field race with 47 and 29 points, respectively.

This Grand Prix is followed by the Hungarian (in two weeks) and Belgian (in three weeks) stops before the summer break. This starts the run of the final stretch before the break for teams to solidify its spot in the tier of standings they are in.

Silverstone marks a home race for several drivers, so it's a favorite weekend for many of the teams on the grid. Lando Norris, Oscar Piastri, George Russell, and of course, Sir Lewis Hamilton all don the British flag as their home countries.

F1 starting grid tomorrow: British Grand Prix qualifying results

This post will be updated throughout qualifying on Saturday.

Here are the bottom five who were cut out in Q1:

  • Sergio Perez (Red Bull)
  • Yuki Tsunoda (AlphaTauri)
  • Zhou Guanyu
  • Nyck De Vries
  • Kevin Magnussen

Weather and car failures dominated the talking points in the first session of qualifying.

Max Verstappen damaged his front wing by making contact with the pit lane wall after he understeered. Kevin Magnussen's car shut down completely on track causing a red flag. Valtteri Bottas also lost power and went off track as time expired in Q1.

Perez has now had to start behind his pace at 10th or worse in five consecutive races. After achieving pole position in Miami, here's his qualifying result (race finish in parentheses) over the last five:

  • Monaco: 20 (16)
  • Spain: 11 (4)
  • Canada: 12 (6)
  • Austria: 15 (3)
  • Britain: 16 (?)
