Breaking down where the FedEx Cup Standings are as we go into the first tournament of the playoffs at the FedEx St. Jude Championship.

The start of the 2023 FedEx Cup Playoffs is here as we head to TPC Southwind in Memphis, TN for the famed FedEx St. Jude Classic. It's a big change for the trip to Memphis and the start of the playoffs this year, though, as only the Top 70 in the FedEx Cup standings made it in as opposed to the Top 125.

After this week and for the BMW Championship, the second playoff event, that will be trimmed to the Top 50. The good news for the PGA Tour pros is that there won't be a cut at the FedEx St. Jude or in any of the playoff tournaments. More importantly too, the FedEx Cup points on the line are quadrupled in the playoffs, which can mean big shakeups with each week leading up to the finale, the TOUR Championship.

But that all depends on where these guys are starting. So let's take a look at just that and the FedEx Cup standings coming into the playoffs.
