The Indiana Fever and Minnesota Lynx meet on Wednesday night in WNBA action.

Both teams are under .500, but no team is more confounding than the Indiana Fever, who bolster a top five offense in the WNBA, but are 5-11 on the year. The team has outperformed expectations from a betting standpoint, but hasn't been able to convert it into wins and losses.

Indiana is in Minnesota to face a Lynx team that is trending up, winners of four of five. Can the Lynx push closer to .500 on Wednesday?

Here are the odds and our best bet:

Fever vs. Lynx odds, spread and total

Fever vs. Lynx prediction and pick

The Fever have been a great bet as an underdog this season, 9-2 against the spread (ATS), but the team is starting to trend in the wrong direction, losing four straight and not covering the last two.

Meanwhile, the Lynx are on a roll, winning four of five. The team is still being priced as a bottom half of the league team, but I don't believe the market is understanding the recent form of this offense, scoring more than 103 points per 100 possessions, which is up nearly five points than the season long numbers.

This is going to be a problem for the Fever, who have been one of the worst defenses in the WNBA all season, only the Mercury allow more points per 100 possessions. With the way the Lynx offense is playing at the moment, this is setting up for a home win.

Napheesa Collier is averaging 22 points per game this season, but that's up to 25 points per game over her last five games. Meanwhile, Diamond Miller has poured in an average of 20 points per game during this strong five game stretch.

With a small spread, I'm getting ahead of the market and backing the Lynx at home.
