GAINESVILLE, FLORIDA: A Florida man named Daniel Spangler won big as he took home a lump sum of $795,000.

On Tuesday, September 12, the Florida Lottery announced that the man from Gainesville claimed a $1 million prize from a lottery ticket sold at a Publix supermarket located at 14130 West Newberry Road in Newberry.

Now, the bonus commission of $2,000 will be handed over to the store for selling the ticket.

How much did Daniel Spangler invest in the winning ticket?

The $20 scratch-off ticket bought by Spangler was part of the Gold Rush Limited game. It features 32 top prizes of $5 million and 100 prizes of $1 million.

The Florida Lottery added that the scratch-off games account for 72% of all tickets sold, as per WFLA.

Another scratch-off ticket winner from Florida bagged the top prize of $15 million in the Florida Lottery's $30 Billion Gold Rush Supreme game.

A Haines City resident, Roberto Lamboy Jr, was announced the winner, after his lucky ticket, which he bought from the Race Trace located at 2001 West Vine Street in Kissimmee matched.

Moreover, the store will be getting $30,000 for selling the winning ticket. It is interesting to find out that many other Florida men have had luck on their side recently.

One of those winners is Wilford Hancel from Orlando. He secured an exciting future by winning $1,000 a week for life through the multi-state Draw game, CASH4LIFE.

The ticket was purchased from a 7-Eleven located at 1755 North Econlockhatchee Trail in Orlando.

Hancel decided on a lump-sum payment of $1 million, in addition to receiving $1,000 per week for life.
