Microsoft confirmed that five games will leave the Xbox Game Pass in August 2022. While the game pass is regularly adding games for the subscribers, games are also removed to make space for the up-and-coming games. Here is a list of the games that will be leaving the Xbox Game Pass on Aug. 15.

Games Leaving PC Game Pass: August 2022

  • Boyfriend Dungeon
  • Curse of the Dead Gods
  • Library of Ruina
  • Starmancer
  • Train Sim World 2

Boyfriend Dungeon, Curse of the Dead Gods, Library of Ruina, Starmancer, and Train Sim World 2 will be leaving the Xbox Game Pass on Aug. 15. The most popular game is Curse of the Dead Gods, subscribers should check it out before it is removed!

Microsoft announced that this will be the first batch of games that will be removed from the Game Pass. The second batch of games will be removed at the end of August 2022, but the list of the games was not announced.

Can You Still Play Games After They Leave Game Pass?

Games you install using Xbox Game Pass remain playable once they’ve left the Game Pass catalog only when you buy them. Xbox Game Pass subscribers get a big discount when they buy games.

When you buy games at a discount, those games are yours to keep. Similarly, any add-ons you buy are yours to keep, whether you buy the base game or not.

Either way, whenever you sign in to the Xbox network, your game data gets saved online. That means, whenever you next play the game—if you buy it, if you play it at someone else’s house, or if it comes back to Game Pass—you’ll be able to pick up right where you left off.
