Michael Strahan took part in a initiative started by his former head coach and former teammate as he shared photos of his support system

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: ‘Good Morning America’ host Michael Strahan has helped raise awareness about pediatric cancer by sharing snaps of people who continue to be a bedrock of support for him as part of an initiative titled 'Show Us Your Team'.

The 51-year-old took to Instagram and shared a number of pictures of his family, from his children to his mother, his colleagues, and also of the people who continue to elevate his business ventures.

Strahan was extremely grateful and expressed his gratitude for the support of these people in his life and revealed that they help him get “through tough stuff.”

The ex-NFL star did his best to hop onto the trend of posting snaps of everyone in his life who continues to be by his side to raise awareness about childhood cancer.

The trend was to show the people who are there for you regardless of anything.

Strahan took note of this and shared snaps of his children - Tanita Strahan, Michael Strahan Jr, Isabella, and Sophia Strahan alongside his mother.

The next few snaps had Strahan’s dog, his business colleagues, and his ‘GMA’ and ‘Fox’ colleagues while featuring some pictures of his children and also his current girlfriend, Kayla Quick.

Strahan captioned this heartwarming post, “It takes a team to get through tough stuff and I am grateful for mine and wouldn’t be where I am without these folks and many others throughout my life.”

He added, “I want to take this moment to show it also takes teams like @tcjayfund and @tacklecancr to tackle pediatric cancer. Proud to take part in the #showuseyourteam initiative started by my former Head Coach, Tom Coughlin & teammate Eli Manning.”

The ‘GMA’ star requested his fans to follow his lead and “spread awareness by posting a photo" of their team.

He concluded, “Join me in spreading awareness by posting a photo of your team now through 9/30, tagging @tcjayfund and @tackle kids cancer, as well as using #childhoodcancerawareness & #showuseyourteam!”

Fans praise Michael Strahan’s initiative to raise awareness about cancer

Fans were in awe of Strahan’s noble attempt to raise awareness about pediatric cancer and showed their support for him by complimenting his "team."
