After her adventurous outing in Waiheke Island, Maggie Rulli took to Instagram to thank ABC for blessing her life with an assignment of a lifetime

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: ‘Good Morning America’ correspondent Maggie Rulli seems to be living her dream assignment in New Zealand. The ABC journalist is currently covering the FIFA Women’s World Cup, trailing the US Women’s Team and the fans who have arrived from all over to support them.

Despite a hectic schedule, Rulli’s coverage has been extensive and noteworthy! But to blow off steam, the ‘GMA’ correspondent seems to have taken a brief break from all her reporting and taken a whiff at some adventures. Rulli recently reported on a fun-filled segment where she went zip-lining and wine-tasting in one of the most popular places in the land. When she reported back to the studio about her adventures, ‘GMA’ host Janai Norman pulled her leg and called her assignment a “tough” one.

Maggie Rulli goes on a ‘zipping’ and ‘sipping’ break from reporting in New Zealand

The ‘GMA’ correspondent admitted in her live report that she was also here to explore the adventure capital of the world, and later revealed the activities and excursions that she took. Rulli went to EcoZip Adventures in Waiheke Island to get her adrenaline fix and tried the zip line from one end to the other. She hooted and cheered as she went along on the zip line, even shouting the local slang “chew” while on it. Later, she moved onto a vineyard to unwind after a thrilling day at the zip line.

Rulli then introduced a must-sip destination for wine lovers in New Zealand and beyond. The ‘GMA’ correspondent interacted with Oscar Jones of Mudbrick Vineyard and Restaurant and learned about the special ingredients of the wine produced at this specific vineyard. Rulli toured the vineyard alongside its owner, taking in the sights as she sipped along the wine and ended the segment on a high, stating to anchor Janai Norman back in the studio that after watching the sights of the country, “It was no wonder that New Zealand was a hotspot for movie making.”

Maggie’s grateful for her once-in-a-lifetime assignment

After her adventurous outing in Waiheke Island, Rulli took to Instagram to thank her employer ABC for blessing her life with an assignment of a lifetime. Rulli was extremely grateful to her company, her team, and her husband who supported her throughout which made her assignment in New Zealand possible. Rulli was extremely delighted to have her baby with her while on duty and thanked everyone in a heartwarming post for their relentless support. Rulli captioned her Instagram post, “Grateful for a company, team, and partner that support me bringing baby halfway around the world so that I can say yes to a dream assignment! It takes a village - and I’ve got a great one!!”
