DUBAI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES: In response to widespread public backlash over dancing to an “antisemitic” track, R&B artist Chris Brown has sought to clarify his stance on the controversy, denying any association with antisemitism in a recent social media post.
The 34-year-old rapper took to Instagram on November 26 and lashed out at critics who portrayed him as an antisemite after a video surfaced online of him dancing to Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign's latest track 'Vultures' at a party in Dubai.
The controversy arose due to specific profane lyrics that said, "How I'm antisemitic? I just f**ked a Jewish b***h/I just f***ed Scooter's b***h and we ran up like Olympics/Got pregnant in the threesome, so whose baby is it? Whose baby is it?"
This is not the first time West has faced accusations of being an antisemite. However, Brown dancing to the profane song has utterly disappointed his fans.

In a since-deleted Instagram story, Brown gave a bizarre explanation to outraged fans in an attempt to clarify his side.
It read, "LET ME MAKE THIS PERFECTLY CLEAR BEFORE YALL TRY TO USE ME AS A PAWN… IMA PIRU, I AINT MUSLIM OR JEWISH so don't start no s**t wont be no s**t!!! IM TRYING TO BE PEACEFUL BUT PLEASE DO NOT WAKE UP THE DEMON IN ME! GO ON ABOUT YOUR F**KING DAY."
He amplified his argument in another Instagram story later.
"IN NO WAY SHAPE OR FORM AM I ANTISEMETIC!!! IM PRO LIFE AND I MAKE MUSIC FOR THE ENTIRE WORLD!!!!!! So please do Not get tricked into thinking I spread hate or am kool with it!" Brown stated.
He further emphasized that his clarification "is for the millions of young kids that look up to and may be confused."
Internet continues criticizing Chris Brown
As screenshots of the stories surfaced on X, social media was hardly convinced by Brown's clarification and how he addressed the conflict, with many suggesting that his clarification was for protecting his career.
One user said, "He's trying to save his career by not getting into the middle of an ongoing conflict." Another expressed a similar view, stating, "Bro don't want to pick side."
A third person wanted him to stop talking, writing, "Must you talk? No one needs this now, anyways, his choices .....his business." "Browny knows nothing about conflicts," stated yet another person.
One person also joked, "Bro done deleted the first part from his IG Story, his PR assistant probably has a head ache." "One need to be careful of his words," said another user, seemingly joking about how bizarre the statement was, and the deletion of the first story.
Another declared, "He was better off not saying anything." "Beo said a whole lot of nothing," noted an eighth person, confused by the statement.
