Armie Hammer and Elizabeth Chambers will both not be receiving spousal support and have agreed on joint custody of their children

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Armie Hammer has been ordered to pay a surprisingly small amount of child support to his ex-wife Elizabeth Chambers due to his current lack of work prospects. According to court documents obtained by Page Six, the 36-year-old actor will provide just $1,500 in support for their two children, eight-year-old Harper and six-year-old Ford Douglas Armand.

This amount is significantly lower than what is typically seen in celebrity divorces involving child support and reflects Hammer's current financial situation, as he claims to lack the income to pay more. Based on the reduced amount, Chambers appears to be understanding of Hammer's financial struggles, as the document states that the two jointly agreed on the child support figure. The recent agreement also confirmed that they will have joint legal custody of their children, as reported on July 5.

A well-document support agreement

Since the payment currently agreed upon by the two is based on Hammer's present circumstances, both parties will be required to provide updated income information to the court every six months. Either party may request a reevaluation of the support agreement if there are significant changes in their financial situations.

If Hammer manages to secure film or television roles in the future, he may be required to pay a more substantial amount of child support. Additionally, the divorce agreement between Hammer and Chambers stipulates that neither party will receive spousal support.

The court documents also detail other aspects of their agreement. Hammer will keep his GMC Denali vehicle and life insurance policy. He will also retain all royalties and residuals earned from his work as an actor, including his most recent film, ‘Death on the Nile’ (2022). However, he has been ordered to repay a loan from Chambers' mother amounting to $285,000 along with applicable interest.

Other obligations in the agreement

Both Hammer and Chambers have agreed to consult and cooperate on matters concerning their children's education, religious training, medical treatment, and overall well-being. The agreement includes provisions prohibiting the publication of photographs or personal information of the children in media without prior notice to the other party.

They are allowed to share photos of the children on social media but with restrictions. Photos must not reveal the children's physical location or any identifying landmarks. The agreement also forbids the use of the children's schools' logos or names in social media posts.

Hammer and Chambers have expressed their intention to return to Los Angeles and have agreed to participate in co-parenting counseling sessions. Furthermore, the agreement includes a provision that prohibits both parties from speaking negatively about each other in front of the children. The two have also agreed that they will not introduce their children to any new romantic interests they may have unless they have been in a significant and exclusive relationship with the person for at least six months.
