Blake Shelton is taller than the average American man and is the tallest 'The Voice' judge

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Blake Shelton fans are probably curious about the singer's height as the crooner usually towers over people in photos and on television.

Interestingly, the 'Austin' singer is often listed as being 6 ft 5 in (1.96m) tall. But Blake Shelton thinks his height is actually 6 ft 4 in (1.93 m).

In a 2014 Entertainment Weekly interview, he said, "Man…I think I’m 6’4”, and I’ve had people tell me they think I’m 6’5”, but that’s with my boots on."

As per The US Sun, he is far taller than the average height of an American man of 5 ft 9 in (1.75 m).

Along with his musical career, Shelton has established himself as a prominent television personality, which has increased his popularity not only in the US but also in many other nations.

Blake Shelton is called 'Hook-shot Shelton' due to his height

What 'The Voice' judges and contestants will vouch for is that Shelton is quite long-legged in real life — tall enough to even acquire a nickname for it.

"They called me Hook-shot Shelton back in Oklahoma, if that tells you anything. I don’t want to brag, but I still wear my Reebok Pumps from high school," Shelton quipped in the same 2014 Entertainment Weekly interview.

He also said that his fellow judges on 'The Voice' had an easier time of it because they were shorter.

"It’s easier for them to find clothes. That’s the sucky thing about being tall and being a fat-a** at the same time. Nothing fits," he complained about being the tall one among 'The Voice' judges.

"If you see me on red carpets and I’ve got a look of disgust on my face, it’s because I’m uncomfortable with whatever I have to be wearing," the country singer added at the time.

In an appearance on 'Late Night with Seth Meyers' in 2018, Kelly Clarkson talked about her time as a judge on 'The Voice.'

The 'Breakaway' chart-topper admitted she enjoys making fun of Shelton and she called him a "giant" while teasing him on the show.

Also, Clarkson stressed that she must always be "on two steps" when being photographed next to the 'Happy Anywhere' hitmaker since otherwise, she would look like "an Oompa Loompa because I’m 5-3."

Gwen Stefani is much shorter than Blake Shelton

The 'Hollaback Girl' hitmaker is famous for her bold appearances and is not afraid to pose with her towering husband, despite being only 5 ft 6 in (1.68 m) tall, according to her official IMDb profile. Gwen Stefani is therefore about 25 cm (around 10 inches) shorter than Blake Shelton.

The blonde beauty, who appeared to be almost as tall as Shelton, was pictured standing next to the country singer in a December 2020 Instagram post while wearing a big country hat and a pair of bright pink cowboy boots.

Stefani is naturally much shorter than Shelton, despite the high heels, elaborate hairdo, and accessories that can make it appear as though she's taller.

According to Closer Weekly, it is more apparent that the two have different heights when Stefani and Shelton are shopping with her son Kingston Rossdale and wearing flats, and having her hair down.

Blake Shelton is the tallest judge ever in 'The Voice'

Shelton has had a lifelong love of music, starting at the young age of 16. He is still one of the biggest country music performers in America at the age of 47 and still stands as tall as ever.

Blake Shelton's height is particularly noteworthy when compared to the other judges in 'The Voice' because Shelton is unquestionably the tallest of them all with a remarkable height of 6 ft 4 in (193.04 cm or 1.93 m).

Shelton was "exactly" who Oliv Blu, a contestant from season 16, predicted he would be after watching 'The Voice.'

Blake Shelton's real-life height was mentioned by Gyth Rigdon from the same season. Rigdon admitted feeling peculiar standing next to Shelton.

And, he is not the only person who feels this way while standing next to the towering American country singer.
