Here's a breakdown of how to get Whetstone in V Rising.

Wondering how to get Whetstone in V Rising? We've got you covered.

In V Rising, Whetstone is one of the most valuable resources for crafting that players can obtain in the game. Whetstone is needed to build some of the key facilities in players' bases, serving as the base component for roof slabs. Here's a breakdown of how to get Whetstone in V Rising.

V Rising Whetstone Locations

The first method of getting Whetstone in V Rising simply involves finding it in one of the five large bandit camps in Farbane Woods.

To save time and effort, once you've approached a bandit camp, be sure to open up your map and hover over the camp ahead of you to get a preview of the resources and materials you can find there. If the list includes Whetstone, you are guaranteed to find at least one in the camp.

Whetstone can be found just about everywhere in camps, from chests and barrels to bandit corpses. Keep in mind that all loot in camps does respawn after a while, so you could theoretically farm these locations until you have a stack of them.

How to Craft Whetstone in V Rising

The other way to obtain Whetstone is far less stressful and time-consuming, but you will have to hunt and take down a certain boss before unlocking the ability to do so.

To get the Whetstone crafting recipe, you will need to defeat Grayson The Armourer, a level 27 boss found in the southern part of Farbane Woods.

The best way to go about doing this is by getting your gear score to around level 27, then using a Blood Altar at your base and following the blood trail until you find him.

Once Grayson is defeated, the recipe to craft Whetstones will be unlocked at your Furnace. The resources needed to craft one Whetstone call for one Copper Ingot and 12 Stone Dust.
