Follow the steps below to fast travel to planets in Starfield:

  1. Press LB (or PC equivalent) to open your hand scanner.
  2. Point to a location that shows up on the scanner.
  3. Press A.
  4. Confirm the selection by pressing A again.

This method is great for fast travel to nearby areas that the player has already been to.

  1. Open the Surface Map with RB.
  2. Press A to select a star system
