While Twitch streamer xQc at first seemed to be amassed by his AI-generated character, that expression quickly changes

Felix Lengyel, also known as xQc, is a popular Twitch streamer from Canada. Well, it seems like Artificial intelligence put the Twitch streamer in quite a lot of trouble. This comes after xQc reacts to a shocking video during a YouTube stream. What was the video about?

In a recent stream, xQc responded to a cover of the 1987 hit song 'Boyz-n-the-Hood' by rapper Eazy-E made by YouTube user Tellyay using an AI-generated vocal module that resembled the streamer's voice. The song, which started out as a hip-hop single, was changed to sound more like country music. But that wasn't what took the Twitch streamer by surprise. It was his AI-generated character using the N-word.

AI-generated xQc uses the N-word

The AI model, who appears in the song's opening line, however, used the N-word, which put the streamer in an embarrassing position. A panicking xQc says, "I did not make this!"

While the Twitch streamer at first seemed to be amassed by his AI-generated character, that expression quickly changes as he hears the racial slur. The streamer immediately said, "Alright, guys. Guys, this is AI. Chat, guys, this was AI, okay? I did not make this."

Previous mishaps by AI

The AI generation has a lot of potential and can be used in many ways. Despite the fact that xQc's video clip was unharmful, Twitch has encountered some issues. For instance, in February 2023, the AI broadcaster, WatchmeForever, was banned from Twitch for violating the TOS with their AI Seinfeld clone show by making a joke that appeared to be derogatory to the transgender and lesbian community.

Neuro-sama, an AI Twitch streamer, was allegedly banned from the service in January 2023 as a result of allegedly participating in hate speech. Having an AI content creator is not particularly rare given the increasing prevalence of artificial intelligence, like ChatGPT, on open web platforms. Nevertheless, moderation is still a problem.

'This is clearly fake'

After the controversial video, one fan commented, "This is clearly a fake. I could actually understand what XQC was saying." A second fan said, "You could see his soul leaving his body for a moment there." A third user wrote, "Guys, this is AI and it's gonna be the greatest excuse in the future." One fan said, "Didn’t know xqc had that dawg in him", while another added, "I can't believe Xqc said the word." A sixth user commented, “I cannot believe how shocked xQc was when he heard his ai say the N-word."
