'If a good enough X logo is posted tonight, we'll make (it) go live worldwide tomorrow,' Elon Musk said

SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA: Elon Musk, the owner and CTO of Twitter, announced on Sunday, July 23, that he was seeking to modify the company's logo. He tweeted, "And soon we shall bid adieu to the twitter brand and, gradually, all the birds." The social networking platform's billionaire owner added in a post on the microblogging site, "If a good enough X logo is posted tonight, we'll make (it) go live worldwide tomorrow."

Musk shared a picture of a blinking "X" and subsequently acknowledged in a Twitter Spaces audio chat that the Twitter logo would change, answering "Yes" and adding that "it should have been done a long time ago." The company changed its name to X Corp under Musk's leadership after he acquired Twitter in October 2022. Twitter users are enraged as a result of his viral announcement, with one user saying, "Someone stop this man."
