God of War Ragnarök is set to release in just a few weeks time, and players are wondering if it'll be included as part of the PlayStation Plus Premium subscription.
Santa Monica Studio's upcoming action-adventure game God of War Ragnarök is set for release next month, on Nov. 9. Despite being a sequel to 2018's God of War, Ragnarök will be the ninth installment in the God of War series. Plenty of players have been eager to get their hands on the game as soon as possible, taking advantage of the numerous pre-order packages available to purchase.
But some players might be hoping to get the latest game at a significantly cheaper price point, hoping to see the game included as part of Sony's revamped PlayStation Plus subscription.
Is God of War Ragnarök Included in PlayStation Plus Premium?
Plenty of big titles have made their way to PlayStation Plus as part of the Extra or Premium tiers, allowing players to check out some huge games at no extra cost. But, despite being Sony's answer to Xbox Game Pass, God of War Ragnarök will not be available as part of PlayStation Plus at launch.
Understandably, this might come as a disappointment to many PS Plus subscribers hoping to save some money on Sony's first-party titles.
2018's God of War is available to play at no extra cost for PS Plus subscribers, and many were hoping for the same treatment for its sequel. For the time being at least, players who want to get their hands on God of War Ragnarök will need to purchase the game in full.
