Paul Oakenfold has provided remixes to over 100 artists in his career, including Madonna, Britney Spears, and Michael Jackson

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Paul Mark Oakenfold, the English record producer, remixer, and trance DJ, has had an extensive career that includes providing remixes for over 100 artists, such as U2, Moby, Madonna, Britney Spears, and Michael Jackson. He has been recognized for his talent and was even voted the 'No 1 DJ in the World' by DJ Magazine in 1998 and 1999.

As far as his personal life is concerned, as of 2023, Oakenfold is not dating anyone. Oakenfold was previously married to Angela Costa between 2000 and 2005. Despite his achievements, Oakenfold has recently faced allegations of sexual harassment from his ex-personal assistant, who has filed a lawsuit accusing him of masturbating in front of her and engaging in inappropriate behavior.

Lawsuit filed over violation of employment rights

A lawsuit was filed on June 2 in LA Superior Court by an individual referred to as Jane Roe, a 24-year-old woman. Jane Roe alleges that Oakenfold's two companies, New Frequency Management and Stepanek Management-Oakenfold, along with several unidentified individuals, violated her employment rights.

The complaint, which consists of five claims, seeks damages exceeding $25,000. According to the lawsuit, shortly after starting her job in October 2022 at the management companies, Jane Roe was assigned as personal assistant to Oakenfold, a Grammy-nominated DJ. She was paid $20 per hour and worked from the DJ's residence. The plaintiff also alleged that Oakenfold “cornered” her and masturbated in her sight while they were alone at his residence. She claimed that this occurred four times, as per New York Post.

Serious allegations against Paul Oakenfold

Upon reporting the incident to Frequency Management CEO Paul Stepanek back in November 2022, she was presented with a nondisclosure agreement (NDA), Jane Roe claims. Allegedly, when she refused to sign, she was prevented from returning to work and faced threats of termination. Under duress, Jane Roe eventually signed the NDA. Although she was allowed to resume work, she was not assigned to assist Oakenfold. However, the plaintiff asserts that her hours were reduced, and she was ultimately laid off on March 13 due to what the court documents describe as "a lack of work.”
