LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Actor Jonah Hill's ex-girlfriend, Sarah Brady, disclosed that she had recently been hospitalized and placed on an "involuntary mental hold" by taking to Instagram on Monday, August 21.
The surfer also shared images and videos of several bruises she allegedly got during her stay at the healthcare facility.
Around a month ago, Brady, 25, spoke up about the alleged emotional abuse she faced while dating 'Superbad' actor Hill between 2021 and 2022, as per the Daily Mail.
Sarah Brady allegedly experienced 'the most violent' healthcare treatment
"Strapped me down, shoved a mask in my mouth, put some mesh s**t over my face, LAUGHED AT ME," claimed Sarah Brady in an Instagram post about her experience at Hawaii's Queen's Health System.
She continued, "Medics INJECTED ME WITH DRUGS INVOLUNTARILY, and didn't give me water. They treated me like a violent animal whilst I remained a human being."
Brady, who has previously spoken up about being diagnosed with bipolar disease, posted several images and videos, beginning with one that revealed significant bruises running down her arm. She also mentioned that although this was not her first involuntary hospitalization, it was "the most violent I've ever experienced."
The surfer captioned the image, "Healthcare," and added, "Injection bruises from an involuntary trip to the ER due to me breaking zero laws. Just followed gate attendant's instructions, drive thru an open gate and parked in an open park spot," narrating the experience.
Brady further alleged that she was labeled as "intoxicated," even though she was not under the influence of any substances. She also claimed they strapped her down on a gurney without her consent.
Later, she posted two videos showcasing the alleged injuries, saying that they appeared worse in person. In a subsequent video, she tagged the medical group and declared that she had been considering a lawsuit.
Is it the first time Sarah Brady was involuntarily hospitalized?
"This is not my first experience with involuntary hospitalization without due cause, or without a clear determination that I was a threat to the safety of myself or others, which is the legal definition requiring to involuntarily hospitalize someone," revealed Brady in an Instagram video.
She then posted a screenshot of a conversation she had with someone, in which she claimed that although "the psychiatric section of the ER was not violent with me," they had simply left her to sleep in a room with concrete walls and floors and a mat on the floor.
The surfer continued, "This is like my fourth or fifth time being put in the hospital and treated like a street dog so I wasn't very shocked but it was the most violent I've ever experienced and I think it's been long enough go me, believing in all of these diagnoses, and playing along that now I'm just like f**k it."
Sarah Brady accused actor Jonah Hill of 'emotional abuse'
In July, Sarah Brady labeled her ex-boyfriend Jonah Hill a "misogynist" and accused him of "emotional abuse."
She took the Internet by storm by posting screenshots of messages purportedly sent by him during some of their previous disagreements, including texts defining his requirements for a "romantic partnership."
