In a recent interview, Ken Jennings spilled the beans about his true feelings on sharing his hosting duties with 'Big Ban Theory' star Mayim Bialik

'It’s a good variety'

Ken Jennings, the host of ‘Jeopardy!’ came on the latest episode of the hit chat show, ‘Live with Kelly and Mark', hosted by Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos to talk about one of the longest-running game shows in the history of American television. When Ken spoke about the grueling schedule of shooting five episodes in a day, the hosts were taken aback. "Now that's a schedule!" Kelly exclaimed. Ken agreed that it's extremely tight but he stated that this is where the sharing of hosting responsibilities comes into the picture.

"It's really a 50/50 split, mostly reliant on her sitcom schedule. When she was doing Call Me Kat, her time was very limited, so when she was on her sitcom, I was hosting Jeopardy!, and then she would trade in.” When Kelly stated that it’s a nice tradeoff, Ken happily replied, “it's a good variety, I think, for the viewers.” Ken agreed that splitting the hosting duties with Bialik has made his job easier and allowed the viewers to see multiple hosts with their own flavors on the game show.

Ken addressed his feud with James Holzhauer

Ken has lately been challenged by ‘Jeopardy!’ Champion James Holzhauer when he appeared in the ‘Jeopardy!’ Masters tournament which Ken hosted this week. James taunted Ken by saying, “Stop ducking a rematch, Ken," causing Ken to laugh out loud. The rivalry between the two exists since Ken holds the record for highest winnings with $ 2.5 million on the gameshow which James still has to beat. Even though James is tough on Ken, the ‘Jeopardy!’ host only has words of praise for his rival, “He is the best player of his generation and I can't believe I skated by with a win in my fading decade... I'm getting a little long in the tooth for a Jeopardy champion.”
