LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'The View' seems unable to maintain its audience's satisfaction after viewers of the talk show recently learned that a broadcast was a rerun, which left them infuriated. The talk show has come under fire for not being able to manage the behind-the-scenes challenges brought on by the ongoing Writers Guild of America strike.
Viewers were left disappointed once more because the TV show played a repeat episode today as opposed to a live show - referring to the re-run in a little credit show on screen that characterized it as an "encore," according to DailyMail. People were upset to learn that the latest episode of 'The View', which features Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, Alyssa Farah Griffin, Ana Navarro, and Sara Haines as the host, had previously aired on Tuesday, April 4.

'Damn, a repeat today!'
Fans vented their dissatisfaction on Twitter, with one user writing, "Whoopi is live on a Friday? I'm shocked," to which another responded, "It's repeat." Another person wrote, "I finally get to watch TheView only to find out it's a repeat!"
A third person wrote, "Hey peeps disappointing that today's episode of The View is a re-run. Hopefully the people in charge of the show will take the time off to self-reflect and re-think who they give a platform." This other disappointed viewer wrote, "Damn, a repeat today!"
What was the scheduling modification made by 'The View'?
Even though learning that the Friday episode was a repeat, which disappointed many fans, ABC officially announced the schedule change in a press release earlier this week. The network said that every day but Friday would include all-new episodes.
Goldberg had previously revealed that the lack of writers is highly affecting the anchor's hosting abilities. She said, "It is week four, and the writer's strike is still on. But we're standing with our writers. They'll get what they want. And we will continue to muddle through because we're having to read from the cards."
Behar was seen answering fans' urgent concerns on 'The View's Instagram page for the day, while Griffin shared photos of herself having fun at Lake Winnipesaukee. The other women from the show didn't yet reveal on social media what they did while the episode for Friday, May 26 was encored.
