MIAMI, FLORIDA: Jacky Oh, the longtime partner of ‘Wild ‘N Out’ star DC Young Fly, suddenly passed away on Wednesday, May 31, at the age of 32. She had reportedly traveled to Miami to undergo a “mommy makeover” prior to her sudden death. In a now-deleted post, Jacky, whose real name is Jacklyn Smith, posed alongside surgeon Dr Zachary Okhah before undergoing the surgery.

“Getting ready for my mommy makeover with Dr. Zach!! Stay tuned to my YouTube for the full reveal!” she shared in the caption of a photo that showed her standing next to Dr Okhah wearing a disposable medical gown. The surgeon could also be seen wearing black scrubs. In the wake of Smith’s death, Dr Okhah has come under scrutiny, with several social media users calling for a detailed investigation, questioning his role in the cosmetic surgery that is being linked to Smith’s death.

What is known about Dr Zachary Okhah?

Dr Okhah, MD, is reportedly a cosmetic, plastic & reconstructive surgery specialist in Miami, Florida. He earned his medical degree from The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University and has between 11-20 years of experience, as per US News. His specialty is reportedly plastic surgery and subspecialty is aesthetic/cosmetic plastic surgery.

Plastic surgeons usually repair or replace skin tissue, bone, and other tissues as well as perform reconstructive surgeries. Dr Okhah known as a specialist in the field was involved in Smith’s "makeover" as he had posed with her just before the surgery in scrubs — implying he would be involved every step of the way. However, it is not known how involved he really was in Smith's procedure or what went wrong either during or in post-op to cause her death.

A "mommy makeover" can include anything from liposuction, tummy tuck, breast lift, breast augmentation and vaginal rejuvenation surgery or a combination of these procedures. It is not known which of the surgeries Okhah was appointed to perform on Smith. After Smith’s death, several social media users claimed that Okhah has received a lot of bad reviews from patients on the internet.

‘He got bad reviews’

The internet was quick to share suspicions about Dr Okhah following Smith’s tragic death. “I’ve read #DrZach reviews Dr. Zachary Okhah. He has six reviews. Two are positive. The others are ONE star reviews. Rest #JackyOh Look at his reviews,” one said. “She went to Dr Zachary Okhah in Miami. I looked him up and he got bad reviews too. Smdh,” another added.

“These Damn Doctors Be Experimenting When It comes To Body Transformations Etc.. Dr. Zachary Okhah M.D. knew he did something wrong if he posted here then deleted Her @jackyoh,” one suspected. “I heard the doctor she went to Zachary Okhah is very neglectful to his patients and the place he operates out of is sketchy. This is extremely sad,” a fourth tweeted.

One said, “Me searching up Zachary Okhah I already see he got bad reviews idk why dc young fly wife went to him,” while another added, “My friend said Dr Miamis office looked like sweatshop , so she went with another doc.” One user mentioned, “I hope there is a thorough investigation into this,” and another asked, “So does the surgeon get charged or no?”

Despite the speculation, no confirmation about Smith’s cause of death has been revealed so far. “It is with sadden (sic) hearts we share with you that Jakclyn aka MsJackyOh has passed away on Wednesday, May 31st 2023. Our family is still processing this very tragic and unexpected loss; we ask that you please give us privacy during this time,” her family said in a statement.
