Jake Paul recently opened up about how Nate Diaz turned down his $10 million PFL MMA rematch offer after their August fight

CLEVELAND, OHIO: Jake Paul recently claimed that Nate Diaz is reluctant to jeopardize his reputation by consenting to an MMA rematch following the duo's August boxing battle in which the YouTuber-turned-boxer defeated the latter in a 10-round contest by unanimous decision.

In the PFL Smart Cage, where he has declared his plan to make his MMA debut the following year, Paul showed a significant interest in engaging in a rematch.

Jake Paul criticized Nate Diaz

In a recent interview with TMZ Sports, Jake Paul said that he offered Nate Diaz $10 million to take part in a huge pay-per-view event.

"The Problem Child" claimed that Diaz turned down the offer because he was worried that, despite the fact that they had quite different levels of expertise, he may lose and damage his reputation in the sport.

On September 7, Paul took to X (previously Twitter) to criticize Diaz for reportedly pulling out of an MMA match.

He wrote, "I just made ur little half-a** promotion. I just taught u & ur half-a** team how to run a major event. Ur just trying to latch on. We offered you $10 million to fight me in @PFLMMA plus PPV. But you don’t want it because you scared to lose. And I dog walked you b***h. So go back to your daddy Dana’s cage and let him tell you what to do. You are used to being owned Nathan."

Nate Diaz takes a dig at Jake Paul

Nate Diaz didn't hold back for long as he soon took to X (formerly Twitter) to give a reply to Jake Paul, writing, "Here’s your Mma fight b***h your easy af we can box or fight mma at ⁦@RealFightINC no problem f**k PFL and f**k u p***y."

While Paul requested that the rematch with Nate Diaz take place under the PFL's auspices because he is a PFL employee. However, Diaz said they would need to co-promote the fight through his firm, Real Fight Inc, for an MMA showdown to happen during the post-fight interview following the August boxing match.
