Jake Paul, a YouTuber-turned-boxer, was professionally trained by BJ Flores for years, leading to his undefeated 6-0 streak

CLEVELAND, OHIO: BJ Flores, who served as Jake Paul's former head coach before parting ties with "The Problem Child," has made a surprising announcement. The YouTuber-turned-boxer was professionally trained by Flores for years, during which he went on to achieve an undefeated 6-0 streak.

As his old trainer joins Misfits Boxing, Paul has been working with Shane Mosley in preparation for his match against Nate Diaz. Flores joined Misfits' squad as a member of the Small Council, and KSI is one of the primary figures driving the group.

'Biggest plot twist in history'

As the news broke out on Twitter, fans were not late to pour in their views and opinions about the same. One user wrote, "Biggest plot twist in history," whereas another wrote, "Man switched sides." "Wow, now I’m really going to watch Misfits, like for real. Biggest W! Awesome move," expressed one who didn't mind Flores' shift to KSI's group. One user went on to say, "That's random as f**k didn't expect it but I'm not mad at it," while another stated, "The council looking crazy!" "The Fan not being on the small council is a crime against humanity! I will be organizing a protest in front of Misfits headquarters!" declared a user about their view on the declaration.

Jake Paul vs Nate Diaz

As the day of his professional boxing debut draws near, Nate Diaz is evidently growing more excited. He is scheduled to face Jake Paul in the middleweight division on August 5 in Dallas, Texas. Paul, who is 6 feet 1 inches tall, has defeated MMA fighters in four previous boxing matches. After requesting numerous MMA heavyweights to fight against him, Nate Diaz agreed to take up the challenge this year. Notably, "The Problem Child" recently revealed his disdain with Diaz's supposedly "boring" and unusual pre-fight hyping of the contest after allegedly receiving trash talk before the fight was signed. When the two conducted their first pre-fight conference in May, Diaz said he didn't think it was necessary to be antagonistic because the fight was so far off. But now that the face off is just a few weeks away, he is finally showing signs of eagerness for the confrontation as he attempts to defeat the Paul sibling on the verbal level before doing so in the ring.
