West Ham United have confirmed that star player Jarrod Bowen has signed a new contract running until 2030 at the London Stadium.
Bowen has been one of the most in-form players in the Premier League this season thus far, scoring a very impressive five goals as the Hammers have picked up 14 points from their first eight games.
The wide player was also the hero of last campaign too, achieving legendary status at the Hammers thanks to his Europa Conference League-winning goal against Fiorentina in the 90th minute of the final at the Eden Arena.
Bowen has now been award for that fantastic form with a bumper new seven-year deal the London Stadium.
A statement on the club's official website regarding the news reads: "The Hammers’ England international forward and UEFA Europa Conference League final match-winner has penned a new deal until summer 2030.
"Bowen has become an influential member of the Irons’ squad since his arrival in January 2020, helping the Club secure European qualification in three consecutive seasons and becoming the first player in over two decades to register ten goals and ten assists in the same campaign in 2021/22.
"A versatile, hard-working player, outstanding talent and superb character, the 26-year-old has started the new season in sensational form, scoring five goals and assisting two in nine appearances."
Speaking to club media, Bowen expressed his delight at securing his future at West Ham, saying: “I’m so pleased to have signed a new long-term contract at West Ham. Everyone knows what this Club means to me, so committing my future until 2030 means so much to me and my family.
“I’ve loved every minute of my time here. Winning the Europa Conference League in Prague was an amazing moment, scoring the winner in the last minute will be something I’ll cherish forever.
“It’s left us all wanting that feeling again and again – we want to create more memories together, for our fantastic fans, and for this fantastic football club.”
As well earning a new contract, Bowen's form has also earned him an England call-up for the October games against Australia and Italy.
