CULVER CITY, CALIFORNIA: It is going to be a Double Jeopardy night at one of the biggest TV events of the year - The Emmys. 'Jeopardy!' has bagged three nominations and two of those are swiped away by just the co-hosts Mayim Bialik and Ken Jennings.

Mayim Bialik wants to match outfits with Ken Jennings

Bialik seemed quite elated over the fact that both the co-hosts were able to find a spot in the category of "Outstanding Host for a Game Show." The actress shared pictures with Jennings to celebrate the exciting announcement on Instagram.

She then suggested that she wanted to match her outfit to Jennings' for the night of the awards ceremony. Her post caption read, "Congratulations Ken Jennings on your first Emmy nomination!! I'm so happy for you! I'm thinking we go in matching tuxedos? Let's discuss."

Bialik is currently on an indefinite hiatus from hosting 'Jeopardy!' to support the writers who are on strike in association with WGA. Jennings is currently hosting the show full-time. 'Jeopardy!' is currently on its Season 39 and it is speculated to come to a temporary halt after this season ends.

First Emmy nomination for Ken Jennings

After being a part of TV and the game show 'Jeopardy!' for as long as most people can remember, Jennings has finally received major recognition for his work. This is his first Emmy nomination after he became a host on the Alex Trebek stage and competed as a contestant for the longest streak in history.

For Bialik, it is her fifth Emmy nomination. She has previously received four other nominations but no wins from The Academy for her role as Amy Farrah Fowler in the popular sitcom 'The Big Bang Theory'. She bagged nominations for four consecutive years from 2012 to 2015 in the category of "Outstanding Supporting Actress In A Comedy Series".
