Ken Jennings got ‘Crack Cancer’ from James Holzhauer

So far, James Holzhauer has created quite a buzz on ‘Jeopardy! Masters’ and left an everlasting impact on the show’s fans. After he won in the semi-finals on Tuesday night, he celebrated his winning by performing another talent of a raw egg cracking. As the game approached the end, Ken turned to James and asked, “I wanna hear about your charity raw-egg cracking talent. How is your raw egg cracking?” James couldn’t contain his joy and grinned with a big smile, explaining his peculiar challenge. He said, “Yeah so Pat McAfee, a fan of the show and apparently me in particular, sent me a challenge. It was called Crack Cancer. And your thing is, you had to have a video of someone smashing a raw egg over your head”. He continued with excitement, "So I enlisted my wife to do this, who cackled through the whole thing. And then you're supposed to kind of pass it on, and I decided I would challenge my opponents from GOAT”. He added further before calling out his colleague named Brad, "And to this day, none of them have accepted the challenge.”

The camera moved toward Ken and James standing next to each other as Ken asserted, "Brad's not here but I am willing to take one for the team here. Are we gonna carry on the raw egg cracking challenge?" James was all ecstatic saying, "Three years later but no less sweet!" while he cracked open a raw egg onto Ken’s head.

Ken jokingly blurts and wiped the side of his face with a towel while the audience applauded, “Great! Do I have a little something here?”

What was ‘unusual’ about James Holzhauer?

‘Jeopardy! Masters’ Ken Jennings admitted in the episode that it was ‘unusual’ to see James in the last place before the 'villain' turned the tables and won. By the end of the first round, James was tagging along with 2600 points to Andrew’s 5200 points and Mattea’s 5000 points. Ken called this moment ‘unusual’ during the interview break. He mentioned James' only one-episode loss in the first two weeks against Andrew and Matt. Fortunately, as the game kicked in, James found a Daily Double in the second round and shoved right into the game.

At first, he got the answer correct which lead to a tie, then he got the last remaining Daily Double, jumping to 19k points. He was all set to play in Final Jeopardy as it wasn’t game over for him. Mattea got the Final Jeopardy “Ulysses,” whereas Andrew also did but only bet 6200 points. Ken said, “James had to know it” and bet 4401 points, enough to seal the victory.
