Fallon introduced amusing jars for public figures, from Mitch McConnell 'buffering' to Chip and Joanna Gaines saying 'shiplap'

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jimmy Fallon, popular host of 'The Tonight Show', has once again delighted audiences with a new and uproarious segment inspired by a quirky real-life scenario.

This time, it's the 'Other Jars' segment, taking inspiration from a Maryland couple's 'Taylor Swift Jar,' where a "fine" is deposited every time Taylor Swift (or Travis Kelce) is mentioned.

Fallon's comedic genius shines through as he brings a fresh and hilarious take to this concept.

Fallon's 'Other Jars' delivers laughter

Fallon introduced the segment, saying, "Speaking of Taylor, a man in Maryland started a Taylor Swift jar that his wife had to put a dollar into every time she mentions Taylor Swift. Well, it turns out a lot of people have jars to get them to stop doing certain things. I'll show you what I mean in a new segment called 'Other Jars'."

As the segment kicked off, Fallon humorously sang, "Other jars, other jars, now it's time for other jars," Fallon continued with the first jar, stating, "First up, Mitch McConnell has to put a dollar in his jar every time he starts buffering."

In classic Fallon style, he introduced the next jar, saying, "Next up, Chip and Joanna Gaines have to put a dollar in their jar every time they say the word 'shiplap.' That's another jar!"

The jokes kept rolling as Fallon added, "Here's the next one. Joe Biden has to put a dollar in his jar every time he calls a 70-year-old 'kiddo.' I call that another jar."

Fallon has to do 'Other Jars' encore for studio audience

The 'Other Jars' segment took an unexpected turn when Fallon playfully responded to the audience's enthusiasm for more jars. He concluded the bit with, "No more jars. The bit is over. I'm sorry."

However, the crowd's insistence led to an amusing continuation of the theme.

Fallon relented, saying, "Alright, alright. Okay. Here's one. Ron DeSantis has to put a dollar in his jar every time he stands on his tippy toes to see the options at Chipotle."

The segment wrapped up with more playful banter, showcasing Fallon's ability to turn ordinary situations into comedy gold.
