With Joe Mixon back with the Cincinnati Bengals after restructuring his contract, he is all about winning as many games as he can with them going forward.

Cincinnati Bengals fans got fantastic news on Friday night with star running back Joe Mixon restructuring his contract ahead of a massive season for this contending AFC North franchise.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Mixon agreed to have his $9.4 million non-guaranteed base salary restructured so he can remain in Cincinnati. It is abundantly clear that Mixon's primary focus is to stay in Cincinnati and help the Bengals win their first-ever Super Bowl Championship. It is still insanely early, but they are my pick to win it all this season. The stars could be aligning for them.

To get Mixon back ahead of team's most anticipated season to date is nothing short of incredible.

Mixon has club options in 2024 and could be hitting unrestricted free agency come 2025.

By getting him back with the team, one of the Bengals' few weaknesses is now a real strength.

Joe Mixon's full focus is on helping Cincinnati Bengals win their first Super Bowl

It is not necessarily that they are due, but there is so much to like about the Bengals' chances of hoisting the Lombardi Trophy next year. One, they have been a final four team the last two years. Two, they play the emerging rival Kansas City Chiefs exceedingly well. Three, Super Bowl winners rarely repeat. Four, Joe Burrow is their quarterback. And five, just look at that coaching staff, man…

The latter is so undeniably massive. For all intents and purposes, defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo should be an NFL head coach right now. Offensive coordinator Brian Callahan could have been one in last year's smaller cycle, too. So with both of them back as key pieces on Zac Taylor's staff, the Bengals will be prepared and could potentially out-execute everyone that they will face.

As far as how the Mixon component is concerned, the uncertainty at the running back position feels no more. The need to sign former Ohio State star Ezekiel Elliott does not seem as pressing. We know that the Bengals' passing attack is about as good as it gets. With the offensive line improving, let's just hope the defense can hold up long enough for the Bengals to have a real shot.

Having Mixon back in good graces with the Bengals is tremendous for their championship hopes.
