AUSTIN, TEXAS: UFC commentator and JRE podcast host Joe Rogan was shocked to see legendary boxer Mike Tyson's deep interest in historical characters like Alexander the Great and Genghis Khan.

Mike Tyson has consistently displayed an unshakable attitude despite the fact that his career has been very contentious.

He made an appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience and gave insights about various legendary conquerors, even surprising the host.

When reading about historical figures, Mike Tyson said, he realized that they were all "mama's boys" who feared their moms a great deal.

He adopted the names of some of history's greatest warriors, including Genghis Khan and Alexander the Great.

“Found out that the greatest ones the best the most political ones were all Mama’s Boys. Really. Yeah afraid of their mother. Napoleon, Alexander. You know me. Genghis,” Tyson said.

Tyson said that they had the utmost regard for their moms, but several fans have pointed out that many of these claims are not quite accurate.

Joe Rogan, though, appeared to be quite intrigued.

Additionally, Mike Tyson acknowledged how much these figures had inspired him.

“Back when he[Mike Tyson] was fighting, he read a lot about like conquerors and like he and I got into a long discussion about um Genghis Khan. Like he knows his real name, Temüjin.
