Joe Rogan said, 'When you go to sleep and you dream, there are psychedelic chemicals that your brain makes'

AUSTIN, TEXAS: In the most recent episode of 'The Joe Rogan Experience' podcast, Joe Rogan once again ventured into the enigmatic realm of extraterrestrial life. He provided fresh insights into his theory concerning alien abductions in a captivating discussion with 28-year-old comedian Matt Rife.

On September 12th, 'The Joe Rogan Experience' presented an engaging conversation between Joe Rogan, the 56-year-old host, and comedian Matt Rife.

The discussion primarily centered around Rogan's theory regarding alien abductions, offering listeners a fascinating glimpse into the thought-provoking exchange that unfolded during the podcast.

Joe Rogan explores alien abduction theory with Matt Rife

Joe Rogan initiated the conversation by highlighting a recurring pattern found in accounts of alien abduction. "It always happens at night, and it always happens during periods when people sleep," he remarked. "Most of the stories I've ever heard are people in their bed - they can't move... or they're in a car, the car stops, they wake up - aliens abducted them."

During the podcast, the host further elaborated on his theory, suggesting a potential connection between these abduction experiences and the presence of psychedelic chemicals within the human brain.

"When you go to sleep and you dream, there are psychedelic chemicals that your brain makes," he explained. "We don't know how much they're making, we don't know what effect that's having on your dreams, we don't know what is going on."

Psychedelics are substances known to induce alterations in perception, mood, and cognitive processes. They have the capacity to affect the senses, modify thought processes, and even induce hallucinations—where individuals may perceive things that do not exist or experience distorted realities.

Rogan intriguingly suggested that the vivid and often terrifying interactions some individuals report with aliens during abduction experiences could be attributed to these psychedelic chemicals.

"You're lying in bed and you're having an insanely vivid and terrifying interaction with aliens every night - because your brain is just dumping psychedelics into you," he said.

Rogan added, "Maybe psychedelics are a gateway to some other reality - some other dimension that's accessible by these creatures."

This speculative statement invited both curiosity and skepticism from his guest, comedian Matt Rife, who described it as "constant paranoia" while simultaneously expressing his fascination with the theory.

Rogan responded with conviction, asserting, "It feels real because it is real." He continued, "And it might be that there's a chemical gateway in your mind that when breached, you enter into a dimension where physical bodies don't exist anymore, and everything moves in this constant soup of geometric patterns."

Rife joined in the conversation, offering an intriguing perspective. "I imagine that's probably what happens at death," and Rogan agreed.

"A lot of the old depictions of what happens when you enter into a psychedelic state... that you're interacting with souls that are like completely unattached to a physical presence," Rogan responded.

The podcaster chuckled, "Maybe you're getting layers and layers of that depending upon how f****d up you are where you are sleeping. Maybe some of those layers are boom - aliens in the room with you."

Joe Rogan questions the authenticity of UFO Footage

Joe Rogan recently posted a video from 2008 on Twitter to express skepticism about a piece of UFO footage circulating on the platform. This stance is notable, given Rogan's strong belief in the existence of extraterrestrial phenomena.

Over the years, Rogan has shared his fascination with aliens and UFOs, frequently posting images and content related to these subjects. However, his recent tweet appears to challenge the authenticity of a particular UFO video.

The video, dating back to 2008, captures an unidentified craft in the sky and features Roger Kevin Leir, a well-known podiatric surgeon, and ufologist recognized for his investigations into alleged alien implants, affirming its genuineness.

According to Leir, the video is known as the "Kumburgaz (Turkey) video" and provides an exceptionally close view of the craft, even revealing its occupants. “It’s called the Kumburgaz ( Turkey ) video, which is a close-up of a craft, so close that you can see the occupants. It is 100% real, and I was there as it was filmed.”

"The whole footage has been analyzed by our scientific board for two and a half weeks," ufologist and astronomer Jacques Fabrice Vallée can be heard stating. "Frame by Frame, pixel by pixel and this is a 100% genuine footage," he added.

Rogan wrote in his tweet, "I’m such a sucker for this s**t. I want to believe so bad…"
