John Gotti III and Floyd Mayweather's boxing match experienced an unexpected fight stoppage due to a nasty brawl between the two boxers' crews

TALLAHASSEE, FLORIDA: John Gotti III, a mixed martial arts professional and boxer, is upset that Joe Rogan, the UFC commentator, sided with Floyd Mayweather, a boxing promoter and former professional boxer, in last weekend's fight stoppage due to a brutal altercation between the two boxers' crews.

Gotti III recently challenged Mayweather in a pay-per-view exhibition boxing match in Florida. The match was called off early due to both combatants' and their teams' inability to behave. The two boxers disregarded the referee's warnings about trash-talking in the ring, which resulted in a physical altercation between their crews.

'Logan Paul clinched 5 million times'

Gotti III shared a series of Instagram stories in which he expressed his displeasure at being chastised for clinching Floyd Mayweather during the match. He wrote, pointing out that Logan Paul clinched Mayweather more than he did during their fight, "@joerogan it was mutually called for both of us cursing at one another. Those are the only 2 moments I clinched the stoke fight. You still the man tho Joe."

Gotti III continued, "Logan Paul clinched 5 million times tho but that was ok. Floyd gassed himself out and I started having brief moments and they called it. Hard when everyone on his payroll." Gotti III who is the grandson of famed New York gangster, John Gotti, further added, he took his punishment in the ring "like a man."

Joe Rogan weighs in on John Gotti III vs Floyd Mayweather

Rogan chimed in on the brutal group punch-up that occurred after Mayweather and Gotti III's exhibition boxing battle. The podcast host blamed the fight on the latter's failure to compete with 'Money's talents in the boxing ring.

Rogan analyzed the aftermath of the exhibition boxing battle in a recent episode of 'The Joe Rogan Experience' podcast with guest Ali Siddiq and stated, "Floyd is just piecing him up. Even at 46, he's the greatest of all time and this kid is really an MMA fighter. He's a tough guy. He caught Floyd a couple of times with some little shots."

He went on to say, "But mostly he's just getting boxed up by literally the greatest boxer of all-time, but he was holding on quite a bit and wouldn't let go and was trying to hold and clinch and hit which is something you can do in MMA so he's protecting himself from Floyd, but he's not letting go."
